We’re a young couple from the Netherlands who wants to live in harmony with nature. When we found this house in Gullringen,
we immediately knew this place has something special.
Our vision for a better way of life
Living simple
& Self-sufficient
We both grew up in a city, but we increasingly longed for nature and freedom. Working from 9 to 5 and cramming all the fun into the weekends left us exhausted and unsatisfied. So we dreamed of a simple life where we’d have to work less for money, but have enough with what our surroundings had to offer.
And this dream became a reality in Sweden,
in the heart of the forest in Gullringen.

When she is not in her vegetable garden, she is busy thinking about new DIY projects, events or preparing food.

Talkative adventurer
He thinks he can take on the world, but still gets startled when he hears unexpected movements or sounds. He often gets lost, but loves to tell stories about his adventures.

Cuddly hunter
He seems innocent with all the headbutts he gives and the purring sounds he makes. But as soon as the moon shines, his eyes widen and he chases anything he encounters.
